Addy decided to try on her new hat and mitten set that she got for Christmas.

Christmas Evening

After Aunt Kay was taken to the airport, we went over to Grandma Sandy and Papa Scott's house. We ate an amazing dinner of prime rib and lobster tails. After dinner we did our traditional Christmas gift exchange.

We had a wonderful Christmas and we were so happy to spend it with so much family.

Christmas Morning

When we woke up in the morning, Santa had come to our house. There was a train set up around the Christmas tree and everyone was so excited to see all of the presents.

'Twas the Night Before Christmas

On Christmas eve, we all got into our red footy pajamas and sat together on the living room couch to read the Christmas Eve book. Then Amaya and Kanoa got some treats together to leave out for Santa while I put Adelaide to bed.

In our quest to create the perfect holiday card, we had to do yet another photo shoot.

Family Dinner

This evening we had a full house for dinner. Roxanne's brother and sisters came over, as well as two of my sisters, a niece and a nephew. We also had one of Roxanne's coworkers stop by with his new girlfriend. We had a wonderful meal of assorted lasagnas, fresh bread, garlic bread and salad.

After dinner, we looked through Jacques and Teresa' wedding album before playing a game of Scattergories. The pictures were beautiful and the album was amazing. Here TJ and I are looking through the album.

After Jacques, Teresa, and Sara left, it was time for Addy to get into her pajamas and ready for bed.

After a long day with lots of visitors, Adelaide fell asleep.

Second Hand

Adelaide is finally big enough to sit up in her highchair. This chair was purchased in the 80s for my little sisters. It has been used for Elizabeth, Katherine, Amaya, Kanoa and now Addy gets to use it. It needed some repairs, but is working great all these years later.

Adelaide is wearing a pair of gingerbread pajamas that were originally purchased for Kanoa and used by Evie and Felix. I just love keeping things in the family.

The cover for the Trip Trap highchair was made by my lovely sister Elizabeth and given to me as a baby shower gift. I am so happy that I finally get to use it.

Holiday Photo Shoot 2

We finally got our Christmas tree up, though not decorated yet. Here are some pictures of Addy in front of our Christmas tree.

She is just learning to sit up without someone holding her. She isn't that steady, but with something in front of her, she is able to sit independently for a few moments.

She likes the shiny paper on this box.

This is one of my all time favorite pictures of Addy! She is just getting ready to blow some raspberries and she looks so cute.

Visiting Aunty Claire

Roxanne and I took Adelaide to meet my god-mother, Aunty Claire, and her husband Dick. Kay-Kay had flown in the night before and stayed with Vik, so they met up with us as well. We had a lovely times hanging out, catching up with each other and visiting.

Here is Aunty Claire feeding Adelaide after we went out to lunch with everyone, even Jeff. I hadn't seen Jeff since I was a kid, it was really good to see him again. I should have gotten a picture of him, but I didn't think to do it at the time. Hopefully we will be visiting them again soon.
