First Halloween

On Halloween, we dressed Addy up as a little mermaid and brought her to Grandma Sandy and Papa Scott's house. We took a couple of pictures while we were there as well as some video. We decided not to take her trick or treating since she isn't able to eat any of the candy. That will have to wait until next year, but we couldn't resist dressing her up and showing her off.

Photo Shoot

When we got home after the FritoLay Halloween party we took Addy out of her costume and took some picture of our beautiful daughter.

Little Mermaid

For Halloween this year, Roxanne thought it would be a great idea for Addy to go as a mermaid because she doesn't need her legs to move right now anyway. Roxanne said that she could make the costume and was very much set on Addy being a mermaid. So, as a result, I was able to make a mermaid tail and Addy went to the FritoLay Halloween party as a little mermaid.

Visiting Grandma Sandy & Papa Scott

After a long day of taking pictures, we went to visit with Grandma Sandy and Papa Scott.

Here is Mama with the grandparents.

Addy is much happier when she can watch football, even if it is just college ball.

Pumpkin Pictures

As Halloween is approaching, we decided to carve a pumpkin and take pictures of Addy during the experience.

Week 13

Showering

Adelaide loves taking showers. She is definitely a water baby and likes the opportunity to be held in a warm shower.

Rox wasn't sure she wanted me to take pictures of them in the shower together...

But Addy is just so content in the shower, I had to take a picture of it.

Ms. Heather's House

Even though it was Fall Break, I brought Adelaide to Ms. Heather's house while I brought the car into the shop. I decided that I should show everyone where Addy goes while Rox and I are at work. Because of our schedules, Addy goes to Ms. Heather's house from about 1:30 to 4:30 every afternoon. Addy has an opportunity to interact with other people in a safe and loving environment.

Here is a picture of Ms. Heather's house from the street.

When you first walk in, this is what you see. The house is warm and very kid-friendly.

This is Ms. Heather.

This is Ms. Heather's daughter, Jaylyn, who is 4 months older than Addy. They like to play with each other and I like that Addy has someone just older than her, so she can be inspired to imitate what Jaylin does.

Monday of Fall Break

Fall Break starts today, so I was able to hang out with my girls in the morning. We took these pictures of Addy after we got her dressed. We just love this outfit.

Addy was just cracking up at us. She is really starting to laugh a lot now.

What?!?

Addy is wearing to hat the Aunty Vik made for her and as you can see, she has clearly grown out of it. We had to take a picture of her in it because she looks so cute. Now this hat, along with her first hat, will become doll clothes.

Aunty TJ's Birthday

On Sunday, we went over to Grandma Sandy's house to celebrate Aunty TJ's birthday and eat yummy ribs.

Here is Roxanne and Adelaide doing their favorite thing together.

Kisses for Addy.

Here is a couple of pictures of Rox and Addy on Saturday morning. As soon as I finish feeding her, Rox takes Adelaide away from me to burp and hold her.

Driving Home

After we left the wedding reception, we were able to sleep for a few hours before loading the car and heading back to Denver. I had to start work early on Tuesday morning and I wanted to make sure that I got a good night sleep. Addy and Kanoa slept for much of the 15 hour drive, but unfortunately Rox was not able to sleep at all. Here are some pictures I was able to take while we were someplace in Utah.
