Birthday Party

Adelaide attended her first birthday party today. We were invited to one of my student's birthday parties held at a gymnastics gym. Most of the surfaces were nice and soft for Addy to move around on.

Week 31

This week Addy was feeling a bit under the weather.

At one point she had a fever of 102.

President's Day

As it was President's Day, I did not have to go to work and so Addy and I spent the day hanging out with friends and family. We picked up Amaya and went to the Museum of Nature and Science with Aunty Cole.

I think Aunty Cole really likes wearing Addy and being close to her.

After the museum, we went back to Aunty Vik's house to bring Amaya home. Here is Addy and Aunty Vik loving each other.

Playing Ball

We went over to Grandma Sandy and Papa Scott's house to visit. When we got there, Grandma Sandy had a surprise for Addy, a new ball. Here is Addy and Mama Rox playing with the new ball.

Getting Ready

After a warm shower we got Addy dressed in this adorable outfit. Her hair is almost long enough to put hair clips in it. Here is my attempt at adorning Addy's hair. It didn't last very long, as soon as she realized that there was something on her head, she just had to pull it out.

Working from Home

Today Mama Rox's car is in the shop, so she and Addy are working from home. While Mama Rox works on the computer, Addy works on standing in her exer-saucer.

Valentine's Day

Today was Adelaide's first Valentine's Day. She got some special mother's milk and a Manhattan Toy Company Skwish toy. Rox took her downtown to wish Grandma Sandy a Happy Valentine's day. I was going to bring her to see Papa Scott, but he wasn't feeling well, so we just have to wait until this weekend to see him.

Roxanne got me and iPhone and I love it. I haven't been able to stop playing with it. I have been able to chat with the Netherlands for free, I can't wait to see what else I can do with my new toy.

Snow Days

For the last two days school has been cancelled due to the weather. Adelaide and I have been hanging out in our pajamas, cuddling and playing. It has been wonderful!

This toy vibrates when the star is chewed. Adelaide loves chewing this toy.

Here she is drinking mother's milk from her very own glass. She usually hold the glass herself, but sometimes she gets so excited that she flaps her arms and can't hold on to her glass.
