6 Month Checkup

Adelaide went to have her 6 month checkup today. According to the doctor, she is growing well and is right on track developmentally. She weighed 17 lbs (7.711 kg) (70.68%), was 2'2" (0.66 m) long (60.06%) and her head circumference-for-age was 82.66%. She received immunization shots and spend the day very unhappy. She was fussy and tired, but couldn't really sleep. She just wanted to be held all day, so that is what I did.

6 Months!!!

We can't believe that it has happened so quickly, but Adelaide is now 6 months old. Time has really flown by. Here are some of the photos we took at her 6 month photo shoot.

Week 26

Sunday Football

I don't know what happened, one minute they were watching the game, and the next minute I walked over and see them like this.

Teething

Everything that is within reach had become a teething toy for Addy to chew on.

Week 25

Addy is checking out some Harleys, deciding which one she wants to ride when she gets older.

Nap Time

Roxanne took some pictures of Addy at nap time. She loves her glow seahorse.

Snow Day

Today Mommy had a snow day and got to stay home from school. So Addy and I played and did some household chores.

Adelaide loves to play in her exersaucer. She stands on her tip-toes to reach some of the toys so that she can chew on them.

Foot Chewing

Adelaide has a new favorite toy to chew on, her feet! She especially likes chewing on the leather shoes we put on her feet to keep her socks on.

Week 24

As this is a new year, and our daughter has completely grown into the onsie she was wearing for her weekly photos, we decided to change the outfit she wears. Now that she is able to sit up independently, we also decided to change the location of the weekly photo. Here she is in a dress that I know she will eventually outgrow, but is way too big for her now.

Resolution Helper

Adelaide woke up this morning and decided that she would help me keep my New Year's resolution, which is to update the blog in a more timely fashion.

She enjoys seeing pictures of herself on the computer.

New Year's Day

It is a tradition in Rox's family to get together for New Year's Day, eat Asian food and spend time together. This year, with Grandma Miyo not here, Rox decided that she would take a stab at making the sushi. I have to say that it turned out pretty good.

We were able to fill this pan with sushi to bring over to Grandma Sandy's house.

Here is Addy with Papa Scott. Even though Grandma Miyo was not with us this New Year's, her brother, Uncle Harley was able to join us.

After a long day Addy and I fell asleep on the couch while we were waiting for Mama Rox to bring us home.
