Dr. Jeff's Graduation

Jeff Silva, the son of my godparents, received his PhD today and we all went over to celebrate with him.

President's Day

As it was President's Day, I did not have to go to work and so Addy and I spent the day hanging out with friends and family. We picked up Amaya and went to the Museum of Nature and Science with Aunty Cole.

I think Aunty Cole really likes wearing Addy and being close to her.

After the museum, we went back to Aunty Vik's house to bring Amaya home. Here is Addy and Aunty Vik loving each other.

Christmas Morning

When we woke up in the morning, Santa had come to our house. There was a train set up around the Christmas tree and everyone was so excited to see all of the presents.

'Twas the Night Before Christmas

On Christmas eve, we all got into our red footy pajamas and sat together on the living room couch to read the Christmas Eve book. Then Amaya and Kanoa got some treats together to leave out for Santa while I put Adelaide to bed.

Visiting Aunty Claire

Roxanne and I took Adelaide to meet my god-mother, Aunty Claire, and her husband Dick. Kay-Kay had flown in the night before and stayed with Vik, so they met up with us as well. We had a lovely times hanging out, catching up with each other and visiting.

Wedding Day

The day of the wedding finally arrived and everything was all set to go...

I think Kalai was a little nervous.

The gift baggies were assembled and the center pieces were put together with a lot of hard work from Viki and Dani.

Visiting Aunty Viki

Today we went over to visit Aunty Viki.

After doing some crunches with Aunty Viki, they hung out on her bed for a little while. While I took some more pictures of Amaya's and Kanoa's room.

As you can see, Amaya's side is on the left and Kanoa's side is on the right.

Tea with Aunty Viki

After going to the doctor to find out that I have tendinitis in my right wrist, Addy and I met Aunty Vik for tea at Capitol Tea. We ate sandwiches and had lovely cups of tea.

2 Weeks

Adelaide is officially 2 weeks old today. We took her picture in the same outfit, in the same spot in her bedroom. We went to the doctor's office yesterday and she gained some weight and grew in length, too. She is now 7 lb., 8.5 oz. which is the 28th percentile and her height is in the 56th percentile.

Addy is starting to get bigger, but mostly we are seeing changes in her head and face.

Here I am with Addy. You can see a bandage on her right foot where they took blood at her doctor's appointment. I couldn't handle watching her getting poked, so Roxanne went in with her to get blood.

Later that day Aunty Vik came over with Amaya to pick some stuff up for her new apartment. This is the first picture we have of Addy and Aunty Vik together.
