Vegas Baby

After a crazy day of travel on Saturday, which included the airlines losing Addy's car seat, we took it easy for the rest of the evening, ate at the condo, and stayed in for the night. We woke up on Sunday morning ready to explore Vegas.

Our first stop was to the pawn shop featured in the show Pawn Stars. Although there were come pretty cool things inside, everything was a little too expensive for us. Here is Addy with Grandma Nan and Grampy David in front of the store.

We exchanged our borrowed car seat for Addy's car seat, picked up the little girls and headed to the Strip. Here is a picture of Addy in M & M World.

She seems to like all the different colors of M & M's.

Trip to Maine

After having her two month check up, Adelaide and I went to the airport to go to Maine for the week. One of the side effects of the shots is that children are often tired and Addy was no exception. She nursed for take off and landing, but slept the for rest of the 5 hour flight. It was nice holding her in my arms while she slept. We were lucky enough to have an empty seat right next to us, so we didn't feel too crowded. Our flight was delayed by about 2 hours and as a result, when we arrived in Boston we only had 1 1/2 hours to catch the last boat of the night. It is a 2 1/2 hour drive from Boston to Cousins Island and we would have missed the boat by about a half an hour. We ended up staying the night in a motel room in Portland and we woke up early to catch the first boat on Saturday morning.

Here is Addy wearing her lobster hat waiting for the first boat.

Grandma Nan held Addy for most of her first boat ride.

Here is Grampy David holding two of his favorite little guys.

Grandama Nan and Addy enjoy hanging out together.

This is where Addy took most of her naps, on the floor wrapped up in beautiful quilts made by Grandma Nan.

My best friend Michelle came over to spend the weekend with us on Chebeague. She brought her dog Eliza. The dogs got along well with each other and were not really bothered by the baby.

Here is Addy trying to ride Eliza. What a cute picture.

Here is Grampy David with both of the dogs. I can't believe how well they got along.
