Dr. Jeff's Graduation

Jeff Silva, the son of my godparents, received his PhD today and we all went over to celebrate with him.

Celebrations

In honor of Mother's Day and Papa Scott's birthday, we all went out to eat at B.D. Mongolian Barbeque in Denver. We all ate too much and enjoyed ourselves.

After lunch we went back to the grandparent's house and enjoyed the beautiful day. Addy was put on the grass for the first time.

As you can see, she didn't really like the grass and didn't know what to make of it.

She got a little more comfortable, but it still isn't her favorite thing to touch.

Mother's Day Flowers

We got a very special surprise for Mother's Day from Anuty TJ. She got us the most beautiful bouquet of roses in honor of our first Mother's Day.

Too Much Sun

Today was a little overcast, but Addy got her first sunburn. When we got home, she was red and so we put aloe on her.

Addy's arms and head got the worst of it.

Here she looks like Heat-Miser with her hair covered in aloe.

After a little while with the aloe, she was feeling better.

Going out in Vegas

On our one big night out in Vegas, we went to the buffet at Harrah's with Uncle Kalani, Aunty Kai and Aunty Chole.

Swimming in Vegas

The weather finally started to cooperate with us and it was warm enough to take Addy swimming. The first pool we went into was way too cold, but then we found the heated pool and she took to swimming like a duck to water.

Kay-Kay and Vicky Gomez decided to come swimming with us for a little while. We played pass the baby and we all had a great time.
