Visiting Santa

Today we brought Addy to meet Santa. He was visiting at the Bass Pro Shop and they had a bunch of activities to do while we waited for our turn with the big guy.

Addy walked up to Santa all by herself and got scared just before he picked her up. I picked her up and put her on his lap. She was a little apprehensive at first, but quickly discovered how comfortable Santa's lap was.

Halloween 2011

Adelaide had a very busy Halloween day. At school there was a Halloween party and trick-or-treating at the businesses near the school.

Mama Rox was able to attend the party at school.

When we got home from school, Addy got dressed in her costume and we went over to do some trick-or-treating in Papa Scott's neighborhood.

We hung out with Papa Scott for a while before meeting up the the Santiago girls. Addy and the girls went to several houses before it was time for Addy and me to head home to pass out candy.

Pumpkin Carving

After going to the Zoo, we came home and carved our Halloween pumpkin.

Mama does all the hard cutting.

Addy doesn't know what to do with the pumpkin and all that slime.

She decides to try to get some out herself.

Boo At the Zoo

Today we went to Boo At The Zoo. It was a beautiful sunny day and we had a great time.

Addy and Mommy looking at the camels. It was so warm that Addy had to take her hat off. By the end of our time at the zoo, she had fallen asleep and was sweaty in her costume.

Party Time

One of the guys that Mama Rox works with had a Christening Party for his son and we got to go. Here are a couple of pictures of Addy and Mama Rox dancing at the party.

Last Day at Miss Heather's

Today is Addy's last day to go to Miss Heather's house. Here are a couple of picture of her heading out the door on her way to her last day.

Presents

Addy just received some presents from Uncle Kalani and Aunty Cara. Here are some pictures of her playing with her new toys.

Dr. Jeff's Graduation

Jeff Silva, the son of my godparents, received his PhD today and we all went over to celebrate with him.

Celebrations

In honor of Mother's Day and Papa Scott's birthday, we all went out to eat at B.D. Mongolian Barbeque in Denver. We all ate too much and enjoyed ourselves.

After lunch we went back to the grandparent's house and enjoyed the beautiful day. Addy was put on the grass for the first time.

As you can see, she didn't really like the grass and didn't know what to make of it.

She got a little more comfortable, but it still isn't her favorite thing to touch.

Mother's Day Flowers

We got a very special surprise for Mother's Day from Anuty TJ. She got us the most beautiful bouquet of roses in honor of our first Mother's Day.

Too Much Sun

Today was a little overcast, but Addy got her first sunburn. When we got home, she was red and so we put aloe on her.

Addy's arms and head got the worst of it.

Here she looks like Heat-Miser with her hair covered in aloe.

After a little while with the aloe, she was feeling better.

Going out in Vegas

On our one big night out in Vegas, we went to the buffet at Harrah's with Uncle Kalani, Aunty Kai and Aunty Chole.

Swimming in Vegas

The weather finally started to cooperate with us and it was warm enough to take Addy swimming. The first pool we went into was way too cold, but then we found the heated pool and she took to swimming like a duck to water.

Kay-Kay and Vicky Gomez decided to come swimming with us for a little while. We played pass the baby and we all had a great time.
